Dr. Palani G. Periasamy is a distinguished academician, industrialist, and visionary leader whose contributions have significantly shaped both education and industry. Hailing from Muthugapatti near Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, he pursued his higher education at Presidency College, Chennai, and later earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, USA. He went on to serve as Professor of Economics and Director at the University of Baltimore, USA, before establishing a successful entrepreneurial presence in real estate and hospitality.
